The best pizza I've ever had in my life. I write this with complete honesty. The sauce is delicious and very distinct in flavor. I honestly recommend trying the simplest margharita pizza. The staff is very attentive to details like different types of olive and spices. Extremely nice people. My only comment is quite unusual, well sometimes the amount of a particular ingredient like in my case arugula, could be a slightly smaller amount. Other than that, I am surprised by the quality of the pizza and the service. All the best and I wish you much success.

A long overdue review. We first discovered Ciao Pizza in March 2023 when they had just opened, and months later, I can say it's still the BEST pizza on the island! Ricardo (the chef owner) makes it himself. The pizza is authentic, delicious, light, and just yummy. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. It's inside a new arcade building and everything is squeaky clean 💫

Incredibly kind service(which is in general very rare on Madeira), very good pizza, recommend 100%! Way better than most of the so-called "finest" madeiran restaurants. *I bet they're italians, therefore the great atmosphere and good food.

We went here because of the good reviews and I have to say it was a big disappointment. It took more than 40 minutes even though there wasn't much going on. The atmosphere in a shopping centre is very uncomfortable. Serving a pizza on a paper plate is an absolute no-go. After a few minutes, the paper disintegrates, which is unpleasant. The lady who helped prepare the food used the same glove she wore in the kitchen to search through the rubbish bin afterwards because she had dropped a coin in it and then went back to work in the kitchen. That's really disgusting. The pizzas are completely overpriced, you can eat cheaper in Italy with much better quality. I don't understand the good reviews at all.
